Nation's Capital DeMolay is pre-approved for Student Service Learning
with the Montgomery County School District. DeMolays and Non-DeMolays
are allowed to do service with us. However, the individual student is
responsible for submitting SSL paperwork to DeMolay for approval.

Thank
Your Teacher Day is Slated for March 10th. Each DeMolay is invited to
nominate a faculty member for a certificate of appreciation for their
hardwork and dedication. Nominations should be set to Dad Pete at

Wear a DeMolay Pin/Shirt to School:
Wear
a DeMolay Pin/Shirt to School Day is slated for March 18th, 2010. The
founding of our order. You are invited to wear a DeMolay shirt to school

DC Polite Day
Council Member Harry Thomas in Conjunction with Mayor Adrian M.
Fenty has declared March 20th Polite Day in the District of Columbia.
We'll be meeting at Tenleytown around 2PM cleaning up the neighborhood
and making some sandwiches for the poor.
Thank A Veteran Day:
Thank
a Veteran Day is slated for March 22nd, 2010. Every DeMolay is
requested to draft a letter to an active duty military officer and DC
DeMolay will share it with an Active Duty Veteran.
Parents' Appreciation Day
Parents' Appreciation Day is slated for Sunday the 28th at Singleton
Lodge at 2PM. We will be serving lunch to the parents as a "Thank you"
for all that they do. (NOTE: we need at least six parents to RSVP for
this event!)
Courtesy Light Bulb Day:
DeMolays are
asked to be courteous to all people and to show respect for the
environment. On March 31st we're asking every DeMolay to swap out one
light bulb in their house with an energy efficient LED bulb. This saves
energy and helps to protect our planet!
